Real estate software no longer lives in isolation. Almost every platform now needs to talk to something else, and the demand for people who understand connectors and the technical side of integration has risen sharply across the sector.
The practical picture is a web of connections: a core real estate platform feeding HMRC portals (for example VAT and Making Tax Digital), pushing data into Power BI for reporting, exchanging information with referencing and credit-check providers, and linking to finance systems, banking and payment tools, and CRMs. Each of those is a small project in its own right, and each one done badly becomes a source of manual work and data errors.
This is where a lot of quiet value is created or lost. Well-designed integrations remove re-keying, keep data consistent between systems, and let each tool do what it is best at. Poorly designed ones create fragile, manual processes that break at the worst moments.
Digevo's take
We help design and build the integration layer, so systems exchange data reliably and automatically rather than through spreadsheets and manual exports.
